In today’s busy age, organisations cannot function without up-to-the-minute, reliable information on all aspects of the business. Therefore, information exploitation is mission critical to the success of a business. This includes online analysis and reporting, using dashboards, information visualisation and geospatial analysis on workstations, portable notebooks and handheld devices.

How this currently works:

Reports from ERP, HR, CRM and other systems present data in a basic, static form that does little to foster understanding, analysis, or decision-making and often does not include the unstructured, semi-structured, or externally sourced data that’s often necessary to make information meaningful. Most organisations spend significant amounts of money and time consolidating and mapping this data into a data warehouse. As a result, throughout the corporate world, applications, data marts, and business intelligence systems are generating literally tons of reports that provide accurate data but insufficient insight and limited usability that require a lot of IT support.
